McDonald’s became part of Canada’s community when we first opened our doors in Richmond, B.C. in 1967. Since then, we’ve gotten to know and love thousands of communities, big and small, across the country. Every day, we serve over a million people more than just great food—we serve community connection.
Over the years, we’ve gotten to know not only your favourite orders, but what’s important to you in the bigger picture. That’s why we support our country’s farmers by sourcing Canadian beef, potatoes, dairy and freshly cracked Canada Grade A eggs. We also help children and families in need, providing youth with their first jobs, and empowering franchisees to grow successful businesses. After all, it’s always been about much more than a burger to us. It’s about feeding and fostering communities like yours.
