About Orangeville Food Bank

Orangeville Food Bank & Dufferin Food Share Grand Valley supports Orangeville and area residents in need of emergency food assistance. We support 1,400+ people a month, which is a 37% increase over 2023. Housing and rising food costs have forced more people to reach out for help for the first time.

We see first-hand the challenges of living without enough food. Individuals having to choose between the hard costs of rent and utilities or buying food. Our goal is to provide a dignified experience to those in need, including access to fresh and perishable foods in a caring environment.

As an organization that receives no annual provincial or federal funding we are largely community-funded. Funds raised through the Coldest Night of the Year fundraising walk will support the operations of the Food Bank including fresh food purchases, gardening programs, senior's fresh food markets, fresh food packages for children and our Community Food Share program.

We invite you to join us on Saturday, February 22nd, 2025 for the Coldest Night of the Year, and together we can make a difference in our community!
