The Coldest Night of the Year is a winterrific family-friendly fundraising walk in support of local charities serving people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness... because it’s cold out there. Join us on February 28, 2026 - across the country, close to home!
The Grind Pembroke is a volunteer-driven, incorporated charitable organization (CRA Registration # 763530896RR0001) serving marginalized, low- to no-income community members in Renfrew County through programs and services located in downtown Pembroke, Ontario. The Grind provides a safe environment in which clients can receive available, non-clinical services in a dignified and confidential manner, and who can socialize and participate in support programs on their journey towards becoming more self-sufficient and fully integrated into community life.
The Grind Pembroke strives to be agents of change in the community through its Coffee House (including a Community Kitchen), Outreach Programming (information sessions & activities), Client Services Office (helping clients in need connect to appropriate community health & social services in partnership with major service providers), Transitional Housing Program, Youth Services and other needed personal services.
Join us on Saturday, February 28th in the Coldest Night of the Year and help us raise vital resources to support those most vulnerable right here in our community!
Our start and end location is the same.
