The Coldest Night of the Year is a winterrific family-friendly fundraising walk in support of local charities serving people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness... because it’s cold out there. Join us on February 28, 2026 - across the country, close to home!
The Renfrew & District Food Bank is a community-based organization dedicated to one simple mission: we provide food to people in need. By offering adequate emergency food supplies and serving as an integral part of our local community, we work every day to help alleviate poverty in Renfrew and surrounding areas.
At our food bank, clients are welcomed with dignity and choice. Once a month, they can “shop” for the items they need—selecting from a variety of non-perishable foods along with essentials like eggs, milk, yogurt, meat, vegetables, fruit, and bread.
This year, funds raised through the Coldest Night of the Year (CNOY) will go directly toward purchasing food for our shelves, helping us continue to support families facing food insecurity.
We will meet in the parking lot of the food bank for words of encouragement and basement will be open for bathrooms and refreshments.
