About River City Vineyard

River City Vineyard is a church and community center in Sarnia, Ontario, serving our city with as many areas of community outreach as possible. Within our building, we operate a 28-bed homeless shelter, emergency food bank, shower program, free store and community garden. Our long term homeless shelter houses 28 beds. All of these beds are almost always full.

The very exciting news is that after over 3 years of fundraising, our 40-bed shelter expansion is now open as of December 2023, including 15 beds specifically for women! We are SO excited to have the new expansion open, but that also means that we need to continue to raise the funding required to operate both shelter wings and all of our other very needed programs listed above. We believe that it is every individuals basic right to have access to food and shelter, and we are honored to do what we do in our community!

We invite you to join us on Saturday, February 22nd, 2025 for the Coldest Night of the Year fundraising walk and you too can help us raise vital support for those most in need right here in our community. Funds raised through CNOY will go towards supporting our River City Shelter and Community Centre.
