The Coldest Night of the Year is a winterrific family-friendly fundraising walk in support of local charities serving people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness... because it’s cold out there. Join us on February 28, 2026 - across the country, close to home!
Since 2005, The Samaritan Centre (Centre du Samaritain) has been providing affordable space for care, community, and services for some of Sudbury’s most vulnerable citizens facing multiple social barriers.
There are two main agencies (The Elgin Street Mission and The Blue Door Soup Kitchen) that provide meals and laundry/shower facilities as well as sprirtual guidance. Operated by New Hope Outreach Services, The Samaritan Centre also provides a daily Drop-In/Outreach Service as well as weekly hairdressing services and mental health/addictions counselling.
We operate together as a centre of transition to help to meet the mental, physical and spiritual needs of the homeless and vulnerable populations of Sudbury.
Join us on Saturday, February 22nd, 2025 for the Coldest Night of the Year and help us raise vital support for those most vulnerable right here in our community,
