The Coldest Night of the Year is a winterrific family-friendly fundraising walk in support of local charities serving people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness... because it’s cold out there. Join us on February 28, 2026 - across the country, close to home!
Be a Souls Harbour Hero on the Coldest Night of the Year
When the cold winds blow and the nights grow long, our neighbours need heroes: people like you who care enough to walk, give, and make a difference.
By joining Souls Harbour for the Coldest Night of the Year walk, you help provide real hope to people in your own backyard. With the cost of housing and groceries at an all-time high, more Nova Scotians are turning to Souls Harbour every day. Together, we serve over 1,000 hot meals a day and shelter about 100 people each night across Nova Scotia.
For 15 years, Souls Harbour Rescue Mission has been meeting urgent needs with food, clothing, and shelter. And it’s only possible because of community heroes like you. From Halifax to Yarmouth, Bridgewater to Sydney, your steps help keep doors open, lights on, and hearts warm.
This winter, walk with us. Give where you live.
Because when you do, someone eats, someone sleeps safely, and someone starts to believe in hope again.
